Funny on the surface but I gotta say if I was a parent of one of these kids I would be raising holy hell with the teacher/administration.
The man behind the "Scarface School Play" video that went viral Monday had fun "fudging" with people. The YouTube clip, which appeared to capture pre-pubescent school children performing a "clean" version of Brian DePalma's mobster classic was actually made with professional actors, the L.A. Times reports.Director Marc Klasfeld, who has produced videos for the likes of Jay-Z and Avril Lavigne, brought the troupe of child actors together - with their parents' permission - a month ago for the project. The gangster parody was shot in a rented theatre in L.A.’s Koreatown and went viral almost immediately after hitting YouTube Monday. "It's a rare place where you can be creative and express yourself freely and it's a very democratic process," Klasfeld gushed to the L.A. Times.Though he suspected a backlash, Klasfeld was surprised that "Scarface" raised so much ire considering the saucy music videos his young daughter is often exposed to."We're constantly guarding her against all these unnecessary sexual [messages] bombarding her," he said. "So for us to see the reaction against this, well, that was a little shocking."He should know – his company, Rock Hard films, masterminded Lady Gaga's "Pokerface" video.
I didn't realize I was on GayUNation. What I meant to say was "Prayers sent".
