There is nothing to like about Austin (- some of 6th street) Traffic there is ungodly-UT students think there shit don't stink. They all lean left, the govt there is right.

6th street is pretty awesome.

I like the whole "Keep Austin Weird" thing.

I imagine I could handle the Longhorns in Austin better than I've been handling the bammers in Bammerham.

The problem with Austin is that the people are trying to keep it weird. Instead of just letting it flow.

They are one in the same. Except they really don't know what to do about other schools (SEC) shirts. I wear my AU gear anywhere I go. They stare, they think, they wonder, and they mumble and go on there way.

Nah, they are very different. Texas has had running water, fire and the wheel for decades now. Arky is supposed to be having a celebration this summer celebrating the advent of all 3 of them to the state. They are very excited. Too bad they were busy loading up 10 deep with 5 star RB's....or they would have had these 3 sooner.

I'm from Atlanta and have lived in Texas about 7 years now. I like it overall. Austin does have some great areas. I like a lot of it. It's not all weirdos and fake hippies. There are certain areas that I wish I could air lift to North Korea, but it's not all like that. Round Rock, West Lake, Lake Travis area, etc, are all very nice, very normal areas.
