Hurst getting a little lazy and making it a little too interesting....

Pawlowski out to call in Cole Nelson in...  Pitching change w/ 2 outs.

Bitch all you want about the umps, but Clemson's clearly the better offensive team right now.

Our pitching leaves a lot to be desired right now.

They've knocked in 2 more to make it 13-7 w/ 2 outs on a single up the middle.

Clemson's retired in the 9th.

Last chance for Auburn coming up, down by 6.

13-7 Clemson.

Bottom line, they've been absolutely clutch w/ runners in scoring position, and Auburn has been anything but for the most part.

Hoping for a miracle in the bottom half.  Umps might still need an armored escort out of Hitchcock Field.

Good PBP, brother! You da man!

Good season. Would liked to have seen us go to Omaha, but still a good season. War Damn Eagle to our beloved Tigers, the Champions of the SEC West!

Now, let's muddle through whatever sports are available in the oppressive heat of summer and get ready to play some goddamn football in 80-something fucking days!

What a great year.  Many records broken and many milestones surpassed.  To make Hoover was the goal and they did that and more.  Congrats to the Coaches and Players.

How about Troop getting things amped up?

I love that these guys are so involved and trying to generate interest.

I fucking love it.

I love the synergy between the three major programs. I loved how Barbee went on the Tiger Prowl. By the way, the announcers said he was there for several of the games this weekend as well.

I sound like our recruits, but it just really feels like one big family. It seemed so segmented before. I love that all of these coaches are so supportive of each other's programs. I love that they all seem to be as genuine of an Auburn fan as I am, not just fulfilling their contractual business duties.

I also loved Foxhall going apeshit on the ump when they ejected him.

I really feel like we have entered a new golden age of Auburn athletics.

Y'all are a bunch of sunshine pumping mother fuckers. I'm fucking pissed. I hate losing.

Matter of fact, I think the words, "God damnit, I fucking hate being an Auburn fan sometimes" came out of my mouth when I listened to Rod call the Clemson HR in the top of the first.

I'll say this though. They battled and had PLENTY of opportunities to win. They just didn't do it. And for that, I am pissed...

Just kidding on the sunshine pumping part. I am excited too, but feel we blew a big opportunity to make some noise this year. Just win and we play a super regional at home with a chance to go to Omaha

Well, yeah, winning would have been better.

I'm just sayin, our goal this year was to make it to Hoover for the first time in 7 years. We did that. We got to host our own regional. Going from suck-ass to instant domination overnight would be nice, but it's pretty far removed from reality.

I'm just happy that we've surpassed our goal. We're surpassing Hal Baird's turnaround rate, and that bar was not set low. Next year the goal is Omaha. Hopefully we can surpass that one as well.

If this staff can "nudge" Mummey, Morris, Dayton and Nelson (All who have been drafted today) to stay and finish what they started, it would be a step in the right direction...

That would be a huge thing for Coach Paw to pull off, but I don't know of Morris will stay. He was already drafted much earlier, in the second round, by the Red Sox in 2007, so I don't know if he will stay in college another year.

It sucked that we lost, but seeing how huge leaps were made this year compared to previous years, I will say this year was a major success. AU baseball is back to being an SEC contender and hopefully an NCAA regular.
