At least the dims can't say she just toes the line. How many left wing folks are up in arms over either of their candidates? I still don;t understand her reasoning for cracking on McCain so hard. Is she trying to get folks to vote for achmed Obama? I wish he was more coservative too, but he;s a helluva lot better than any of the dim slime.

She actually endorsed Hillary on "Hannity and Colmes" last week. 

I think she and several other conservative political pundits are simply flummoxed that McCain is doing so well in the primaries.  I'm not sure that I buy her arguments about McCain being less conservative than Hillary but she is making a point...he did vote against the Bush tax cuts.  He was also the instigator in the "Gang of 14".  I certainly have some complaints about this blatant attempt to usurp the authority of the executive branch and upset the checks and balances within the Federal government but the compromises they made did get us Chief Justice Roberts and Justice Alito approved without much delay.  That was just one situation where conservatives actually got what we wanted! 

One of Ann's biggest complaints (and my biggest) is the McCain-Kennedy Comprehensive Immigration Reform bill...cooked up using the "smoke-filled back room" politics without any regard for what their constituents (Us!) wanted done...mainly secure the damn borders!  It has been almost seven years since the attacks on 9-11 and we still have a fucking sieve at the southern and northern border of the lower 48...not to mention Alaska and Hawaii.  The Republicans had control of Congress since the Gingrich Revolution in 1996 and especially since 2001 yet they have done next to nothing to reinforce the borders (even going so far as to arrest, try, and jail two border patrol agents for doing their job!).  Then they cook up this comprehensive reform package basically giving amnesty to 12 to 25 (who knows?) million illegals!  I don't know about you folk but I have simply had it with this "we know better than you do" attitude of our elected officials!  They work for us!  Reinforce the damn borders!  Build the damn fence!  And deport the illegals!
