He's claiming insider knowledge and access when it's readily apparent that the extent of his "insiderness" is a subscription to Rivals. 

At this point it's really more of a joke anyway.  Nobody cares except to poke fun at him.

I once believed this.  But then I razzed him about the skreets once or twice and he took to the defensive with the quickness.  Not the position of someone just fucking around trying to get a rise.
