Colts win...mostly based on motivation of not wanting to hear any dumb ass "who dat" chants we'd all suffer through were the Saints to win.
Saints last 7 games:
Washington - 33-30 OT - 3 point win
Atlanta - 26-23 - 3 point win
Dallas - 17-34 - 17 point loss
Tampa - 17-20 OT - 3 point loss
Carolina - 10-23 - 13 point loss
Arizona - 45-14 - 31 points win
Minnesota - 31-28 OT - 3 point win (outplayed in every way except turnovers).
Colts last 7 games:
Tennessee - 27-17 - 10 point win
Denver - 28-16 - 12 point win
Jacksonville - 35-31 - 4 point win
NY Jets - Manning only threw 21 times
Buffalo - Manning only threw 18 times
Baltimore - 20-3 - 17 point win
NY Jets - 30-17 - 13 point win
Maybe it's not legit, but to me, the games the Colts didn't play their startes don't really tell us much (Jets, Bills). In the other five games, they are +56 on points.
In the Saints last 7 games, even with a 31 point win, they are +7 in points.
The Colts have gotten better after scraping by a lot of teams early on. The Saints were blowing people out early in the year, but have only done that once in the last 7 games. Anything can happen in one game, but it sure seems the Colts are trending in one direction and the Saints have been going in the opposite direction.
