What's interesting about Goodbread's theory is that it's a "numbers" game to try to fit him in...then how did the 3-star kid from Memphis just happen to fit into the numbers suddenly?
Surely a kid from Memphis that Alabama could have stolen at any time isn't higher on the board than Coleman. So if they had room for the Ivory, wouldn't that spot have gone to Coleman if Coleman was "sold" and just "hoping" he had a spot? As of now Alabama only has two OL commits, and neither are highly recruited. Arie Kouandjio is expected to join, but either way, this isn't a loaded OL class without Stone.
This isn't to say Coleman isn't going to end up at Alabama, but to say it's a "done deal" and they are just hoping the numbers work out sounds like a load to me. The addition of Ivory today kind of blows that up.
