QUALITY MANAGER
TETRA OFFSHORE SERVICES
TETRA Applied Technologies has an immediate opening in its Offshore Services Division in The Woodlands, TX for a Quality Manager, reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations. Will support operations management to ensure that the services the Division provides are fit for their purposes and meet customer expectations. The Quality Manager will lead and coordinate activities related to the elements of the quality management system in meeting these goals.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the development, implementation and maintenance of the Division quality system, including auditing and reporting on the performance of the system and making recommendations for improvement.
• Act as liaison with external parties on matters relating to the quality system.
• Establish procedures for maintaining high standards of quality and reliability.
• Determine and enforce, through functional groups, quality requirements in accordance with Division needs based on current regulations and industry best practices.
• Organize and promote division-wide quality improvement efforts.
• Evaluate and develop improved techniques for the control of quality and reliability.
• Provide training, tools and techniques to enable others to achieve quality.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a field that offers an opportunity to gain a well rounded technical and/or business background.
• Knowledge of quality management system requirements and ISO 9001 & 14000 requirements.
• Ten+ years of broad experience related to quality administration and/or quality engineering. Three to five years experience in managing personnel and complex activities. These experiences should be gained in areas of engineering or technical operations.
