All agreed.  No justification here whatsoever, but as a business owner, you HAVE to know what you're putting yourself out there for, if you choose to play with "Roll Tide", or "War Eagle".  Especially if you choose one exclusively over the other.  Unless you're in Tuscaloosa, or in Auburn, you're playing with a short fuse either way.

A good business person takes advantage of both schools.

I think everyone answered your question pretty clearly.  There's nothing wrong with a community rallying around a native son, or daughter, or team.  However, when you're in a populated area with a large portion of that community being fans, or supporters of the other team, you have to decide how you need to handle it if you choose to ignore, or exclusively support one over the other.  Pulls at people's strings.  It's not rocket science.

The question I'd ask you, is while it's okay for an Auburn guy to order a pizza from that Pizza Hut, will it be possible for one of the bammer supporters in there to NOT say something about the Auburn customer's shirt, hat or whatever?  I'd venture to say that 5 out of 10 times, they couldn't keep their mouth shut on the subject.  I believe also, that 3 out of those 5 would say something disparaging, or something belittleing their support of Auburn over Alabama.  Just a guess...and my opinion, but certainly based on experience.
I just really don't look at it like that I suppose. I never say anything to somebody wearing Auburn, LSU, or whatever gear. I was wearing an Alabama polo at the Shrimp Festival and an LSU fan said "Roll Tide" to me, so I gave him a "Geaux Tigers" back. I thought that was pretty spectacular for an LSU fan. Maybe he was drunk or something, who knows. The ACE Hardware in Foley flies an AU and LSU flag out by the street, but I still shop there. I often find that if I don't act like an idiot about football to somebody, they won't act like an idiot towards me. Maybe your problem is birds of a feather and whatnot. I know not all Alabama, or Auburn fans for that matter, can keep their mouths shut though.

On the brightside, there are a shitload of Rosebowl tickets on ebay.......seems bama fans thought they were buying tickets to the championship game.

True story. :)
I couldn't help but bring this back up. I changed over to a different shift today, and one of our jailers is an Auburn fan. Has been since he was 13, according to him. We were watching as the Rose Bowl came on and said "Uhhhhh.....I thought Alabama was playing in the Rose Bowl?" I wasn't going to take the bait, and I was like "Dude, I know better....." Come to find out, he was serious. After a 10 minute debate, and a quick trip to Google, he finally believed me that The Rose Bowl is an actual stadium, and the Rose Bowl is a bowl game played at that stadium.

AHHH HAHAHA.....OHHH HAHAHA!!!!!  Bunch of dumbasses.  LOL, remember they're destined to win the Rose Bowl...it's in one of their songs, atleast that's what I've been hearing for the past week or two on the bammer talk show (f-baum).

So, would an Auburn fan be wrong for ordering pizza from the Pizza Hut in Foley since their sign outside says "GO JULIO ROLL TIDE" every Saturday that Alabama plays? Or do business with any business in Foley that mentions support of Julio, only the second player ever from Foley to have any sort of meaningful college career?
Andy Benton was a great college player.
