The fine for pretending to slip the ref a bill on the replay was just about the most fucked up thing I've seen in a while.  I thought it was comedy gold.  As long as it's just trying to liven it up, let em' do it.

$30K for this?

My doctor told me I needed to stop masturbating.  I asked him why, and he said, "because I'm trying to examine you."

I saw the sombrero thing and thought it was funny as shit. Did they seriously fine him for this? For something on the sideline where the other team probably couldn't even see it? I mean, what is the issue here?

Pass the hat.

The NFL fined Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco $30,000 for wearing a sombrero after he scored a touchdown during Sunday's win over Detroit, according to an NFL source.

ESPN.com's James Walker writes about all things AFC North in his division blog.

In a letter the NFL sent this week to Ochocinco, the league wrote, "During the second quarter of the Bengals qame, you were observed gesturing for, and then wearing, a decorative poncho and sombrero in the bench area. ...

"Compounding your violation is the fact that your actions were premeditated and deliberate. Prior to the game on your publicly accessible Twitter account, you posted the following: '@adam_schefter what I've planned for today will get me fined when I score but it's so worth it.'"

Ochocinco tweeted later Tuesday, "Adam this Sunday when I score I'm taking that loud horn from the Viking mascot and using it<--is that a fine to?"

Ochocinco was fined $20,000 last month for conduct "unbecoming an NFL player" after he flashed a dollar bill at an official during a replay challenge in what he jokingly referred to as a "bribe."

It's Goodell man...he is runing everything.  You can't slap a bitch no more, shoot a fellow human, kill some dogs. The NFL is really starting to stand for the No Fun League

Yeah, when they cut out the whole dog killing thing, I turned my back on the League.

Yeah, when they cut out the whole dog killing thing, I turned my back on the League.

Here's my issue with the whole Vick/Doggie thing.

He did his time. He served more time than most people serve for killing someone drunk driving. He served more time than a lot of child predators serve in Vermont and Oregon. And in the end, its a fucking dog - not a human. When we've gotten to the point where you serve for time for supervising and organizing pit bulls fighting than you do for molesting a child in certain states, we're fucked. Disclaimer: I dont condone dog fighting. I just dont elevate a dog to human status on the pecking order. I have 2 dogs. In fact I hate cats.

There is also the issue of people publicly saying that Vick didnt deserve to hold a job ever again anywhere - much less the NFL. What horseshit. You serve your time and pay your debt to society - you should be able to be productive again. Granted your not a hardcore lifer like Dahmer or Manson. But you get the drift. He fought dogs, he paid the price and served the time. I usually dont side with the thuggie types like Vick, but some people's ignorance on the PETA fringe just boils my blood.  ~End Rant~
