Actually, his legs cramped up. Five minutes after that he was up on the podium chugging Gatorade, and was then interviewed. Something they were showing during the game when talking about Ingram and Richardson trying to keep the leg cramps at bay was that they were eating pickles. Never really heard of that.

I've drank pickle juice to help from cramping...water usually does the trick, unless you've been out drinking it up the night before the game.

UGA served it to their players on the sideline a few years ago. It helps keep the body supplied with the right salts to prevent cramps. Only problem with cramps is, once you got them, it's too late to drink anything. I kept a healthy dose of salt on my diet and never got cramps.
