And please don't talk about his "on the field" performance.  He's a fine back, but please, you and I can both name plenty of running backs from the SEC in just the last few years that were better than or as good as him. 

He's not special.  He's in the discussion because no one else is doing anything special either.  It also helps that everyone else on his offense is anywhere from average to useless.

Yeah, no one else on your offense is anything to get excited about.  McElroy is adequate.  Julio?  Darvin Adams is pretty sure he's overrated. 

And while Tate is good, he's not special either, and no one here is claiming he is special in a national or historical sense.  He's also not in the running for the Heisman, as he shouldn't be.   No one here is touting Tate for the Heisman.

My point is that Ingram shouldn't be either.  He's a good SEC running back, the kind we see 3-4 of every single season.  That's why I made you a list of 14 backs from the last few years that were or are every bit as good as Ingram.  And that's just from the SEC.

But, as I expected, because Ingram is wearing Crimson, he is somehow superior to the 14 players I listed.

Nobody is saying that Tate isn't a good back. He's shown he's one of the top in the SEC, no doubt. However, I think you should watch out when publically saying you're better than a back with less carries for more yards who plays on a team that is undefeated and #3 in the country. Just sayin'......you would think that after last year and the whole "We're going to score alot of points on Alabama" quote (I forget who it was from, possibly Tate?), they would learn to watch what they say around Iron Bowl.
