Would you take a loss to Furman to ensure a victory over Alabama?

I know it doesn't work like that and one doesn't mean the other yada yada yada...but if you were gauranteed right now that Auburn would beat Alabama if they lost to Furman, would you do it?

People can understand losing to the #3 team in the country. People can't understand an SEC team losing to Furman (or ULM).

I would rather beat who am suppose to beat and still have a chance to beat those that are a test ahead of us.
Technically, you said nothing about losing to Bama; just guaranteed a win. So, that still means we would have the possibility of beating the bammers w/o the sorry ass loss to a team not even in D1.

I don't know anyone that went to Furman. Hell, I don't even know where Furman is. I will suffer no recrimination if we lose to Furman. Six months later, no one will remember or care.

But a win over bammer is forever.

Furman is a VERY good school in Greenville, SC.

I will remember it and so would every UA fan just as we all remember ULM.

Under the current circumstances, I'd be okay with losing to Alabama if we look prepared, and beating Furman would be part of that.
