"mommy part infection" is the best attempt to get under my skin with an original zinger in a while.
Too bad he's stupid enough to think that I will change my tune till one glorious event happens at Auburn. Can the mouseketeers guess what that is?

They douse you with Vagisil on the 50 yard line during half time of the Iron Bowl?  I'd pay to see that.

I've asked this before, but for some reason, I never got an answer.  greaseybammer, who would you have picked as the next Auburn Coach after Coach Tuberville lost his fire?

And you still would never answer the question about what your great prediction was for Oct 31st. Remember greasy? Tell us, what is the great event that will happen on Oct 31st that will alleviate all Auburns fans from Chizik and get us back to greatness. I am waiting.....

Hmmm and as Ihave answerd before TT had gone the distance at Auburn, it was time for him to go. I don't know who I would have liked, I honestly don't. I know that there more than a few legitimate coaches with legitimate winning head coaching records who would have loved to have at least been legitimately interviewed.
But the important thing is not who we could have gotten but rather to look towards the future and find someone soon.

Well I will admit that I missed the Oct. 31st prediction. The fuckup still stomps the sidelines doesn't he. Soon he'll be gone and things will get better.

He was wrong about the 31st being D-Day. But if Auburn lays another god awful egg?  There will be a hard pendulum swing toward his point of view.

I never have (and still don't) think Chizik can do the job.  I think he gets run out sooner rather than later.  But I'm not on the front lines calling for him to leave today.

I think that harms the program more than it helps.  Jacobs made this colossal blunder.   Can't be too reactionary or we end up like the Raiders -- which is sort of where we are in a way.

He's here now.  Got to ride it out for this year and at least one more.  I used to say you would know what kind of coach you had at the end of three years.  I've changed that.  Things are accelerated now. You know what you've got at the end of two.

If we're sitting here next year having the same discussions (and you can go back and look, the discussions about the offense and pulling Chris Todd and playing Caudle are almost verbatim from last year) then you can legitimately go ahead and eviscerate Jacobs and the Chizik crew.

Because the Chizik hire was greeted with such universal derision and scorn -- and because EVERYBODY in the country looks at where we are now and goes "meh, Chizik sucks, we knew he would" we'll be excused and probably hailed as visionary if we whack them all after next season.

Very rarely do you and I completely disagree on a subject but I feel that you are dead wrong on this one. The amount of damage chizik and company can and will cause Auburn would rise exponentially with every year he is there. Under normal conditions 2 or 3 years is the norm but remember these are not normal conditions. chizik was brought in in the dead of night by people who place their own goals and ambitions above those of Auburn. They will just ignore the path of destruction caused by him since they chose to meddle and damage Auburn in order to hasten the removal of his predecessor. Lowder had a bank implode and burn in his lap, Yella fella spends his time making commercials and riding around shopping for antiques while his brother runs the wood treatment company, and they along with a certain welcomed back ex-coach to single handedly put Auburn on equal footing with Alabama while at the same time single handedly  got Auburn put on probation for benefits above and beyond that what was allowed just happend to be along several others on a certain board of directors of a certain financial institution who as previously mentioned went tits up. The only good thing about the chiziking of Auburn is that the fuse is finally let to clear out the good ole boys and their rascally traits.
