Of course you LEARN from the past... but if all you do is sit around and brood, and cry, and piss and moan "oh woe is me, what am I going to do" then that doesn't GET you anywhere.
Honestly, if I were a coach in that position, heading AWAY from campus to clear my mind while I jacked some iron around would help a lot.
We don't need a coach that cries and panics. We need him to stay focused and calm. If it takes going to Golds to get away from the atmosphere that HAS to be shitty around the Tiger locker room... then so be it.
I don't see how him punishing himself is going to make Chris Todd NOT throw passes like a poo slinging monkey, or Mario Fannin CATCH something every once in a while.
