As soon as they approve my registration (stupid), I'm posting some facts.
He says "over the years" Auburn hasn't given them much trouble. How many years does he want to count? I mean, Bear Bryant had his way with every SEC program for all of the 60s and 70s, not just Auburn. He was 9-3 against Georgia, 16-4 against LSU, etc.
So if we go back 27 years to Bryant's last season, 1982, Alabama is 11-16 against Auburn, and 12-15 against Tennessee. So over those years Auburn has given the Tide more trouble than Tennessee.
For the record, Auburn has also had a winning record against Alabama's "true" rival Tennessee, going 9-6-2 over those same 27 years.
To go a little deeper...
Alabama verses Auburn, Tennessee, Georgia, LSU, Florida, Arkansas, and South Carolina over those 27 years is 58-69-1.
Auburn verses Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, LSU, Florida, Arkansas, and South Carolina over those 27 years is 73-59-4.
