Here's the thing - to imply that I want to kick his ass also implies that I care enough to want to do so.  Oh sure, beating the hell out of him was fun for a while, but now?  **YAWN**  The challenge is gone. 

You guys know how it is - you pick up some girl in a bar, you fuck her a few times, but there never was anything there - it was just something to do - and you don't like her enough to want to even try and make something out of it. So you stop calling.  Then you get drunk one night and call her up and show her some attention and get her hopes up, maybe even get laid again - but then you sober up and suddenly remember that month long business trip to the Far East, so far east that your phone won't work, hey, maybe I'll call you when I get back...
