Hardesty worries me. He reminds me of some combination of Moreno/Irons/Cadillac. He runs so hard, is so explosive, and tears off 8-15 yards regularly. He leads the country in runs of 20+ yards, leads the SEC at 121 yards a game, and just seems pissed that the rest of his offense blows so hard.

If we can slow him down, they won't even get the 17 I gave them in my score prediction unless they get points on special teams or defense.

I like CFN's prediction....

What will happen: The Tennessee defense will play an inspired game, but Crompton will be awful with his interceptions giving Auburn the breaks needed to take control of the game. It might not be pretty, but this will be when Auburn officially sheds its status as one of 2009’s biggest sleepers.
