Auburn linebacker Craig Stevens was named the SEC's Defensive Player of the Week on Monday after intercepting a pass and returning it for a touchdown, a play that put down West Virginia once and for all Saturday night.
Stevens' late interception sealed a 41-30 victory.
Stevens didn't stop there. He also had 11 tackles.
Auburn had five interceptions and recovered a fumble in the wild game.
Stevens is the third Auburn player to win an SEC award this season. Running back Onterio McCalebb was named the Freshman of the Week after the first game and end Antonio Coleman was named the defensive lineman of the week after the second game.
One SEC award per game...not too shabby...
