"Still the same. It's Auburn," Dyer said when asked about his leader. "You can't get no better than that. I really enjoy all the coaches here. It's like a family here. It's what I need and what I want to be a part of. It keeps me coming back."

Quote
"It was amazing. The fans are probably the best fans I've seen in my life," Dyer said. "To stay out there in the rain -- a 30-minute delay and they were still out there cheering. That was pretty exciting.

They kept cheering and we kept playing. It was a real good game. We came back and won."

When asked about Sr. Ben Tate...
Quote
"It's going to be hard to fill his shoes but I'm going to try my best," Dyer said.

One thing is certain.  His best bet is to get out of his home state.  I don't think he's seriously considered Arky in a while, but if he had a doubt, it was probably erased last night.

By most accounts (writers for both ITAT and Rivals), Dyer has had a plan to commit at a pre-game function in the next few weeks.  They mention his Homecoming Game which is in October, but they're not sure he's actually going to wait that long.

I think they might be saving him for a loss. A 5* commitment looks good in the wake of a loss.

Dyer in this offense, alongside Ontarrio and Mario....and Eric Smith.  Also, throw in Lache Seastrunk. That would be fuckin' awesome.

Damn...I don't want to wait that long, I was kinda hoping he'd be an Auburn commitment before Feb.  Championship

Guys, don't get caught up in the stars.  We all know that if/when he commits rivals will re evalute him, and one of those stars will be transferred to a bama commit that sat out this season.  Come on now, get with it.

I'm asking again what it takes to count someone as a commitment.

"I want to be a part of it"

"We came back and won"

"It's going to be hard to fill his shoes but I'm going to try my best."

Is it just me or does this kind of sort of say....you know...he's coming to Auburn?  Am I reading too much into those comments and all the others?

A national championship is a wonderful thing, but if you're not enough without it, you'll never be enough with it.

How about "Give me a top two. No? How bout a top one?" "Auburn." "Is that official?" "It's official." "Wow...you heard it here first."

Probably because he was a 4* star coming out of HS and he's gotten bigger and fast since then too.  Fowler was a 2* last year...his Senior year, with an offer from South Carolina State, but he was held back.  Therefore, he should keep his 2* status.  What I find is an absolute JOKE is that the bammerham news has him among the Super Seniors, eventhough he was a Senior LAST YEAR.  The spot that he's taking up, should go to a Senior.  BTW, rws, an Auburn Man saying that a prospect should be rated as a 2* isn't the same as a spuat fan saying it.

Sounds like it to me. He appears to be committed to Auburn as much as one could be, without actually saying it.

I wasn't meaning him. I meant in reference to the other recruits that were visiting. Night games are always ausome........ but last night? Especially so.

Oh yeah, I definitely agree.  What we did, as fans, impressed all of the recruits that were in attendance.  Also, we had Fireworks going off for our entrance....something that I hadn't seen in a while.  Another thing, Trovon has stated that the Auburn fanbase is the most impressive that he's ever seen and he's been to Death Valley a few times.  He said that he was most impressed with the fanbase, when the Stadium Announcer came on saying that everyone should head for cover, because eventhough the Stadium has lightning rods all around it (if Lightning was to strike the Stadium, the aluminum rods would be the ones that are hit), there's still a danger there...all the fans, that were out there to begin with, stayed out there singing (I'm guessing around 15,000-20,000).
