(AP Photo/Derik Holtmann)CLEARWATER, FL--- A 33-year-old man was arrested after leaving two small children locked his vehicle while he visited a strip club in Clearwater, Florida on Sunday.

According to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, the unidentified man left a 3-year-old and a 4-year-old in his car while he spent 30 to 40 minutes inside the strip club drinking late Sunday evening.

The man was arrested and charged with two felony counts of child neglect and is currently being held at the Pinellas County jail on a $10,000 bail.

The nature of the relationship between the man and the children was not released.

About 5 years ago we had a mother stop at the local drunk biker bar, leave her kid in the back seat of her old mini van with the keys in it running, get drunk on tequila, only to discover a few hours later her van and kid had been stolen.  they later found the van and kid abandoned in Jasper.

Makes you believe that a person should have to pass a test to be a parent
