Fuck Meeeeechigan.  I've always liked to watch Fresno St.
I was/am a big Fresno fan too - especially when David Carr was their QB.  To my credit, I thought he was a good QB while I watched them play - THEN he took off his helmet... and he became my favorite college QB of all time...

Too bad the lack of an OL when he was with the Texans made him a flinching sack magnet.  What a waste of a decent QB.  They ruined him.

Fuck all of your favorite teams.

I only root for whoever's playing Bama, or whoever ESPN declares "can't win" a game against one of their precious love affairs (USC, Notre Dame, Michigan, Ohio State, Oklahoma, etc.).

For this reason I like underdogs, and can also get behind a team that fucks up ESPN's worldview such as Boise State.

That, my dear, is a given.

or whoever ESPN declares "can't win" a game against one of their precious love affairs (USC, Notre Dame, Michigan, Ohio State, Oklahoma, etc.).

i too like to see Herbie's head spin around when the EPSN paradigm shifts out of control, and their gameplan for annointing the year's champeen gets shot all to hell.  They manipulate perception to make themselves look like experts - too bad for them the games still have to be played and coaches don't gameplan based on what Herbie and May and Corso and Holtzth opine.

I will usually jump on the anti-ESPN bandwagon too.  This year, I am afraid they will be honking the FL bobo and blowing Tim Tebow at every opportunity... that is gonna get OLD... especially if LSU and The Hat have  anything to say about it, and I think they still have to play that game too... assholes.

I should have clarified the above statements with what I assumed was implied based on the title of this thread. Fixed.

Thank you Roger Shultz.

That formerly fat bastard was on the radio this morning spreading ignorance again today.

Among the things he said was that his pick for the national title game was Alabama (of course) and Boise State.

If they begin gaining respect and adoration from the ESPN fucknecks, I will hate them just like the rest.

I've been following Boise St. for a while, and now Colorado since Dan Hawkins went there.  I was hoping we could hire Hawkins away when we were looking for a coach, but he's kind a west coast guy.
The wife went to FSU, so I have to somewhat cheer for them as well.
I kind of like Fresno, but I can't figure out why they have a big green V on the back of their helmets, drives me nuts.
I absolutely can't stand OSU, OK, aTm, Miami, ND, and 'bama.

"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine.  What kind of brick and mud business model is that.  Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve.  Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

"V" is for the Valley.
Quote
The Fresno State Bulldogs football team represents California State University, Fresno and the California Central Valley, especially the San Joaquin Valley, in NCAA Division I FBS college football. The Bulldogs proudly display a green ā€œVā€ on their helmets, uniforms, and on the field symbolizing the agricultural valley from which they draw their support.

Believe it or not, I actually knew that before Googling to get the official explanation...  a brain full of useless bits of trivia...

1. Cal-Berkley Bears (awesome unis, awesome stadium that was built in a canyon of strawberry field)
2. Texas Tech Red Raiders (Unis and badsh1t crazy Leach, who was the OC at Valdosta Blazers when we
                                     played them at UWA)
3. Oregon Ducks (Kick @ss unis and the Autzen Zoo)
4. Penn State Nittiny Lions (Tradition, unis and the Saint Coach JoPa...also Lavar Arrington)
5. Florida State Seminoles (Tradition, unis...the Unconquered Black is freakin' sweet, mascots, stadium and
                                     ALL of the Linebackers)
6. Washington Huskies (beautiful stadium scenery, nice unis and my brother lives up there in Seattle)
7. Toledo Rockets (Only because I'm a Gardendale Rocket and Toledo is the only D1 team that sports the
                          same mascot)
8. Akron Zips (Who the fuk can't pull for the damn Kangaroos?)
9. SMU Mustangs (I'd really like to see them go from Riches-to-Rags-to-Riches)
10. Arizona Sun Devils (Some bad ass unis and because of Pat Tillman)
11. Stanford Cardinals (Because I still remember "Touchdown" Tommy Vardell)
12. Texas A&M Aggies (Quentin Coryatt and I have to pull for an Ag School)
13. USF Bulls (I love watching Jim Leviett become horse after the first play of the game, there's a lot of fire
                   in those eyes)
14. Georgia Tech Yellowjackets (I love watching the Triple Option when it's run correctly)
15. Nebraska Cornhuskers (Trev Alberts and The Blackshirts, plus their stadium is fuk sweet)
16. Wisconsin Badgers (I loved watching the Battering Ram, Ron Dayne)
