Grrrr..

Ok.  Shortest version.  I'm capable of.

Girl sort of kinda moved in with me many years ago.  She was maybe a little sketchy.

Found an old box of checks from a closed account in a drawer in the bedroom.

Wrote I don't know how many checks at convenience stores all over town.  Bought small things and wrote them over for cash back.

I find out about this when I get arrested -- at work -- for kiting checks.  When I try to argue with the fine police officers, I get headbutted, cuffed and stuffed.

Incarcerated -- and unaware that she had written the checks -- I use my one phone call to call her to come get me out so I can try to figure out what's going on.

She tells me she's tired of my crap and hangs up on me.

When I get out a few days later after finally breaking down and calling somebody else to share in my disgrace, I see a lawyer, get copies of some of the checks and realize who did what.  So I go home.

She's there smoking dope with a bunch of scumbags.

Apparently I just missed the sex.

Scumbags scramble.  She's not content to just get her ragged shit and leave, she's got to run her mouth.

I closed it for her.

First and only time I've done that.  I'd like to be ashamed of it, but I'm not.

Woman abuser!!!!

That's a pretty fucked up story, though.  I don't condone hitting her.  I mean, I can't say for sure what I would do in that situation, but yeah, that might warrant it.

It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

I have an 18 year old daughter that just started at Auburn.  I read what this "Dad" said and personally, I think he needs a little domestic violence upside his fucking head.  What an incredible cocksucker this guy is to publically rip his own daughter.

I would like to change my earlier post
Quote
Her daddy would be so proud.
I was thinking in terms of how I would be disgusted with my own daughter if this happened. Apparently she comes from a real upstanding family. To hear her daddy speak of her like this, it's no wonder she is rumored to be a known whowah.

There is no accounting for class and the more we hear from turdtown, the more disgusting it gets.

I don't know if suspending him for a football game would have been the correct punishment, but to spin this shit as anything other than him being a worthless piece of shit is backwards.

I don't care what the girl said, did, or threatened to do.  You don't put your hands on a woman unless she is initiating your death.  All Upshaw had to do was walk away and leave  her alone in the street crying like the lonely lunatic that she is.  Instead, he shoved her and grabbed her by the back of the head or whatever else he did.

Alabama fans trying to argue that this isn't a big deal have to be sporting a wife beater with a Natty Light in hand.  That's as ignorant as it gets.  I know I'd be completely disappointed in an Auburn player if he ever caused harm to a woman.

And for those trying to argue that Quentin Groves did the same thing, shut up.  Quentin called the cops on himself, and he said that he was afraid of what he might do to his wife if they kept arguing.  Dramatic?  Yes.  Assault?  No.

If I hit every woman that ever slapped me, there would be some-mo-broke-nose-bitches running around out there over the years. Stay away from the balls and use an open hand, and all is good. I probably deserved it anyway.

I literally LOL'ed multiple times when I read this.

Saban: Upshaw on 'behavior probation' following arrest
Posted by Don Kausler Jr. -- The Birmingham News August 20, 2009 7:24 PM

TUSCALOOSA - Alabama coach Nick Saban confirmed that sophomore linebacker Courtney Upshaw will not be suspended from the team in the wake of a verbal altercation with a girlfriend that police say became physical.

Following practice on Thursday, Saban only made a few comments about Upshaw, who was arrested Wednesday night along with a girlfriend after a University of Alabama police officer witnessed the two arguing and then fighting near the student recreation center.

Upshaw was released from the Tuscaloosa County jail Thursday morning and participated in Thursday's practice.

"This is as fine a young man as we have in the program," Saban said. "He's a really great person.   He really works hard academically. You couldn't ask anybody to be a better representative of the university.

"He was put in an uncompromising position, and he didn't handle it well. He made a mistake.

"He knows what his punishment is. He knows what he's going to have to do.

"He's on behavior probation.   He'll learn from the mistake he made.  Hopefully our entire team will learn something.  "

I know many women that are of the "We are equal in everything" category.

But when I bring up being struck by a man, they turn into the "you can't hit a woman!"

I just inform them that they can't have it both ways, and then punch them in the throat.

Hey, what's Tiger Wench's thoughts on the matter?  I might've missed it among the 7 pages.

BTW, that girl's father is a Red Pachyderm Club member, this was told to me by my boss...who's a member.  He told me the story, today, not knowing that I already knew about it.

Also, how much y'all wanna bet that Upshaw will have his scholarship taken away.....next year.  I'm betting that he'll be one of the first two taken off of scholarship.

My opinion is thusly stated:

Unless she is armed, you don't hit a woman.  For the most part, guys just know how to hit, and are just physically stronger and capable of inflicting more damage.  I can slap the shit out of someone, but me trying to punch a guy?  Gonna break my hand and do very little damage to him.  One right cross to my nose tho, and I am in serious shape.

Now, if I am armed, even with a purse or a set of keys, whale away to the extent necessary to make me back the hell off.

I also think that this guy has to be MASSIVELY bigger than her.  Even if she managed to punch him, you can't tell me he doesn't take harder licks every day on the practice field.  Being an athlete, unless he is Andre Smiff, he is probably in top shape and very strong.  His potential to damage to her is much greater than her potential to do damage to him.  That is just a fact, fair or not.

If the police report is to be believed, it even said that he WENT CHASING AFTER HER... so he has PLENTY of chance to get the hell out of there.

So for those reasons, as well as the oft-stated "He should have walked away and never even been in that situation.", I think Satan went too lightly on him.

If Eric Smith had been in a fight with a girl, under these circumstances, I would want him suspended for at least one significant game.  All the hype about turning boys into men, building character, blah blah - if building a man of character involves letting him tee off on a woman, then color me not too damn impressed with your "process".

Oh - and her daddy is a dickhead.  She may be a slut - or maybe not - but you keep that shit inside the family.  You do not air your personal crap to the media about your kid in defense of some athlete from the program you openly support.  If she is promiscuous, I wonder about the kind of daddy issues she may have, what with such a wonderful parental support system at home and all...

Side story.  The only man to ever raise a hand to me other than my daddy was a cop.  One of my daddy's cops.  Daddy had told me not to date him, but I did anyway.  Turned out he was a dick and an asshole both, and one night when I informed him of both of those facts as I endeavored to walk out, he slapped me.  First thing I did was tell his captain, who put him on midnights for the rest of his short career.  Second thing I did was tell my daddy.  My daddy did not take the cop's side and in private, I got yelled at for dating him anyway.  But daddy also did not make a big scene about it -  in my tiny town, this would have been scandal for weeks. What he did do was go to the cop and make sure that he understood that it would not be in his best interests to come within a hundred yards of me ever again or bad things would happen.

I know none of you have met my father.  He is not a big guy - just over 6 feet.  But when he gets quiet and clenches his jaw when he talks to you, it makes you want to wet yourself.  Seriously.  There are felons in Calhoun County who get very quiet when you mention my daddy.   ;)

What happened to the freebase guy?  Doesn't he have a take along the line of "Well I might drink a little tequila and whop ole Sharon Jean upside the head a little...  but I don't freebase, I ain't gonna do it."

Luckily, I have managed to make it thru life so far without getting in a situation where I had to slap one around.  That is surprising, growing up in a family where that kind of thing happened from time to time.  I don't, however, believe you should never lay hands on a woman.  Probably shouldn't ever really tag'em with a good right cross, but I've seen women who weren't afraid to tee of on a dude with a 6 lb. cast iron frying pan full of hot grease.  In those instances, it's hard to frown on a little self defense.

Also IMO, about the only thing worse than hitting a woman is a woman telling a cop you hit her when you really didn't.  I know some guys, some on this board, who got to spend a night in the pokey over that kind of thing, and that ain't too cool.  damn bitches.... maybe they deserve a good ass whippin every now and then after all, just to keep them straight.

For comparison by the way, this happened a couple of weeks ago...

Quote
LB Brandon Fanney, LB Prince Hall, DB Alonzo Lawrence and former Davidson RB Jermaine Preyear "violated some type of team rule or policy and were not invited back on our team," Saban said.

Or as the media outside bammerham reported it...

He was expected to see playing time as either a cornerback or safety for the Crimson Tide this season, but Saban said this week that Lawrence was one of four players who violated a team rule and were not invited back to the team.

“That’s something that isn’t true, but I’m not going to say anything about that,” Lawrence said.

Yet Upshaw chasing his girl down to grab her by the back of the head/neck to slam her into parking lot gravel, and he's "A really great person." You couldn't ask anybody to be a better representative of the university."

Still waiting on that Eric Smith police report to hit teh intrawebs. Funny how all of these newspapers have the redacted report, but nobody seems to want to put it up. Very curious what happened.

And Chizad, since we're taking only players' word on things, I guess DeRon Furr was right and CTT and Company lied about him leaving the team?

No where did it mention that he slammed her. Only said he grabbed her by the back of her neck in an ATTEMPT to push her to the ground.
