Senior Ben Tate, expected to the top running back in Auburn's backfield this year, said Tuesday he was determined to enter camp in top physical shape.

"My body fat is down a lot," he said. "I really wanted to come in this year and push my body to the limit. My goal this year was to be in the best shape of my life. I think I've accomplished that."

(Summer workouts?)
They were a lot tougher this year than they were last year. After a season like that, we didn't have a choice but to get on board and work extremely hard. That's what we did this offseason.

(Pre-season predictions providing motivation?)
Of course we look at it. We know. We're using that as motivation. When you're picked high, you still want to come out and work because you have that bulls-eye on you. Being picked so low, that's motivation. We want to finish at the top.

(Why did things turn south in 2008?)
It's natural when things go badly for people to get violent and start pointing fingers at one another. That's one of the things we did. Now, if something goes wrong we have to stay together. The coaches have put a lot of emphasis on getting together no matter what.

(The new staff?)
They have done great things here. Auburn is going to be one of the top programs very soon. When your coaches are easy to get along with, that brings everyone else together. This is one of the best offseasons I've had -- and this team's had -- since I've been here.

You couldn't be more wrong about me. I don't care about scoring points on Prowler. That's so fucking easy there's really no value in it at all. They showed him a photo of his ass and a hole in the ground and he couldn't identify either.

That's funny, because whenever I post "this is what I'm hearing" or "word on the skreets", if what I was hearing comes true....then you can just sit back and say, you weren't right, what you were hearing was right. But, if what I was hearing doesn't come true...then you can just sit there and claim that I don't know shit and that I'm always wrong. If you were actually keeping score, kaos, you'd see that what I've heard has actually been right more times than it's been wrong.

Kaos, you keep saying that Auburn is going to fail with Coach Chizik at the helm, I say that they won't....notice, I didn't say that Auburn would win every game because Coach Chizik is our Saviour. But, go ahead Kaos, keep throwing up all over every post and/or topic that has to do with Coach Chizik, that's what you're good at so why should you stop. Hell, if Auburn goes (9-3) this year, you'll probably throw up all over the topic that's talking about how the season was a success. Your whole, "I hope I'm not right, but I know I will be" has been stale since your first posted it. Keep trying, you'll get it one day :thumbsup:
