I don't know if any of you folk followed or even cared that our fucked up House of Representatives under the botox-enhanced watchful eyes of Pelosi barely passed the "Cap and Trade" Energy Bill this past Friday. I will be quick to point out that were it not for eight Republicans jumping ship this Bill would not have passed at all. These traitors to the Party should be remembered.
Those of you who are not aware of what "Cap and Trade" even is should probably look it up because if it passes the Senate it will cost you and your family somewhere between $400.00 and $3,000.00 plus additional dollars per year to cover energy taxes that will be passed on to you directly from your energy supplier (and if you live in the Southeast most likely your energy supplier burns coal to make energy...this bill is an onerous burden on regions like ours which uses coal for power generation more than other areas of the nation). This Bill will supposedly usher in 'jobs, jobs, jobs, jobs' to quote from Pelosi...what she didn't say is that it would be jobs for the Chi-comms and Indians because this damn travesty will be a massive burden on manufacturing in this nation so much so that they will probably migrate elsewhere for manufacturing. "Jobs, jobs, jobs, jobs" lost...in the name of a fantasy that is anthropogenic global warming.
The ONE, of course, lied again saying that there would be no taxes for those whose income is under $250K, this will be another tax burden passed through to all of us producers; and he will sign it if it passes the Senate.
I'm getting closer to going the route of "John Galt".
..."All the men who have vanished, the men you hated, yet dreaded to lose, it is I who have taken them away from you. Do not attempt to find us. We do not choose to be found. Do not cry that it is our duty to serve you. We do not recognize such duty. Do not cry that you need us. We do not consider need a claim. Do not cry that you own us. You don't. Do not beg us to return. We are on strike, we, the men of the mind.
We are on strike against self-immolation. We are on strike against the creed of unearned rewards and unrewarded duties. We are on strike against the dogma that the pursuit of one's happiness is evil. We are on strike against the doctrine that life is guilt.
We have granted you everything you demanded of us, we who had always been the givers, but have only now understood it. We have no demands to present to you, no terms of bargain about, no compromise to reach. You have nothing to offer us. We do not need you.
That is all.
