There's unsubstantiated rumors flying around about another wave of Auburn players getting the ax. They include Burns while also noting that frenchy isn't being kicked off but leaving on his own. This is where you shine and you're nowhere to be found.

BTW, the rumors about Kodi and Mario seem to be something dreamed up by the turds. I haven't heard anything about them. Also, PPL is good friends with Christian Thompson and word is, he's not too happy that he's being kicked off. PPL told someone last night that he's still an Auburn Man, which could mean that he's going to stay, idk. If what I'm hearing is true about Thompson, Savage, and Jemison, then they should be kicked off, because they were warned the first time to stop messing around...apparently they didn't listen, it sucks for them and I wish they would've heeded the warning. CT would've provided some immediate depth at the Safety positions. Savage and Jemison...not so much, as they are both listed as 3rd string and that's before the freshmen come in. It sucks either way and I wish them well, wherever they end up.

I will say this, IF Kodi and Mario were doing what the other three were and they'd been warned, then that would tell me that they don't want to do what they need to do, to be a part of the Auburn Family. It would definitely suck to lose Mario, though.

I'll get back to y'all, once I have something a little more concrete than baseless rumors from the mouthbreathers.

Correct me if I am wrong.....At ISU, didn't Chizik kick some folks off of the team when he first arrived? And then wasn't he forced to use a ton of freshmen and otherwise inexperienced personnel, and some of you have subsequently blamed his dismal record at ISU on that partially? I'm pretty sure that was one of the things being thrown around when he first arrived at AU to explain the problems at ISU. I believe it went that there were alot of troublemakers on the team, and he weeded them out and then didn't have alot of talent in the cupboard. Also, I believe I read in a few recruit interviews on AuburnSports.com where recruits were given a similar story as well by Chizik himself during in-homes.

Seeing a pattern develop? That is a huge hit to an already thin AU defense, in any event.

The difference in ISU and Auburn is that there is talent still here and he's not kicking off starters or even 2nd string players except for maybe Christian Thompson, depending on Michael McNeil's injury situation. It's only three players from different positions and the fact that some of those players could've been pushed back a spot with the incoming freshmen. So, keep trying.

AU chose to play third stringers and walk-ons on defense during its A-Day game because the lack of enough talent. Chizik was afraid that if one of the starters or second stringers had been injured, apparently they would be semi-fucked. That doesn't really scream "loaded with talent" to me. The whole incoming talent thing is rather speculative, except for Christian Thompson.

There is no other true Safety on the roster right now. Jemison could have been an option, since he was recently moved from Safety to LB, but he is off the team as well. AU has no incoming true safety, and there are still three DBs (Washington, Paige, and Bates) that are waiting to hear from the NCAA and hope to report by the end of July. With that said, Reggie Taylor would have been your only incoming DB, but he did not qualify and will attend MGCCC. So, AU has a grand total of 0 DB/CB/S incoming at this point. We all know how it usually goes when the NCAA waits until the end of July to clear a player as well. Anyway, I don't see Thompson being pushed back by incoming freshmen when there are no freshmen incoming at his position.

Generally speaking, I could give two shits and a fuck less how he disciplines AU players. One of the points made by ISU fans was it seems like Chizik always creates some sort of reasoning for what goes wrong. There was always something or somebody that he blamed for his lack of success. He somewhat confirmed what they had said when I started seeing interviews of recruits he had in-homes with saying that he explained alot of his failure was due to things beyond his control and having to use so many freshmen and otherwise lesser talented players. Did he kick those three guys off of the team for something marginal or to make an example of somebody? No clue. I have no idea what exactly they were kicked off of the team for. I simply wonder if he is doing the same thing at AU that ISU fans accused him of; creating a scapegoat for if/when things turn South.

Never said it was a "worship Chizik" place (except for Chizad, Prowler, and Chopper). Whether you like it or not, my point was valid. Its seemingly the same shit that happened at ISU pretty much. Chizik and other coaches themselves were the ones that said they are scared depth-wise to put first and second teams in on A-Day.
