My doctor told me I needed to stop masturbating.  I asked him why, and he said, "because I'm trying to examine you."

So, was it a Rupture or a tear?  If it's a tear, he'll be back next year.  If it's a rupture, he's going to have a limp for a good while.  Fingers crossed.

That sucks.  He was a really good defensive back.

From what I've read, it might not be as serious as once thought, but they aren't sure yet.

Chizik: Aairon Savage has 'slight injury,' not a 'big concern'
Posted by Evan Woodbery, Press-Register June 16, 2009 7:43 PM
Categories: Football

So what exactly happened to Aairon Savage? The Internet has been abuzz for the last 48 hours that Auburn's senior cornerback suffered a potentially season-affecting injury.

The vague statement released earlier today by head coach Gene Chizik did little to answer questions. His latest comments before a speaking engagement in Huntsville tonight won't clarify the issue any further.

When asked about Savage, Chizik said, "Right now, he did get a slight injury. We're still trying to evaluate the extent of it, to be honest with you. That's where we're at."

(Was it an Achilles injury?)
"I'm not at liberty to even talk about it."

(Is this a big concern?)
"It's not a big concern but obviously we're going to review day-by-day the extent of what the injury was and deal with it as it comes."

Coach-speak? Definitely. Accurate? You be the judge.

FWIW - Bryan Matthews on Rivals said that we should get used to Chizik not discussing the details of injuries.

I'm expecting Savage to be done.

This is fine with me.  I've always thought it was stupid to basically inform your next opponent where your weakness was before you even kicked off.

"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine.  What kind of brick and mud business model is that.  Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve.  Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."
