I was listening to some of our sports hacks on the radio yesterday. They were talking about Ronnie Wingo, an incoming RB of ours.
They described him as a bigger, faster Fred Talley.

I'm all about pimping a kid who hasn't even gone thru one college practice, BUT unless the video player on my computer is broken, that kid is not faster than Fred Talley.

I think it's the Matt Jones effect. He doesn't look like he's moving fast, because of his strides. Mr. Wingo will become a stud at UA, barring injury or academic issues.

He won the Missouri state championships in the 100 and 200 a week or two ago.

Auburn folks do love the "Fred Talley just ran past my window" cracks.

The "monstrous" Fred Talley...5-8, 180, originally a DB. Undrafted free agent cut in training camp by the Falcons.
