It's never too early...

After our decent bowl showing, I could see us starting next year anywhere from a preseason rank of 12 - 18.  I have high hopes for next season, but I don't see us starting the year ranked any higher than 12 or so.

12 seems about right.  I do know that it certainly got me pumped for next year. Man Mr. Burns throws a solid ball. If they can grasp that much in 10 days imagine what 8 months will bring.

I can't wait for next year, I'm pumped. 90 plays and over 400 yards should be a track meet next season.

I think we'll probably start around 16. I'd put us about 12 but I don't see the AP or Coaches doing it.

The Man will neva let us start in the Top Ten.

We can finish there. That's more important.

Didn't you get the memo?  We had our shot at embracing the hype in 2003.  We blew it and that will be held against us in perpetuity.  Other teams, for whatever reason, don't have to earn it every season (think USC, WVU, OU) but Auburn has "had its chance".

I was actually told this by someone who votes in one of the polls as he justified ranking Auburn behind teams like Florida.

That actually makes sense.  Seeing how we are just red-headed stepchildren, who only teach chop blocking techniques to our linemen.
