Honey, I am so sorry. We lost two classmates to car wrecks my freshman year at Judson, one of them the very first night of school, during freshman orientation. Even at a Christian college, no one had any adequate words to offer. I know I held the memory of that night in my mind for a long time - all we knew was that someone had been killed, but we had to sit and wait until curfew and just see who didn't come back.
Scars like that serve as a caution - maybe the memory of her friend will make your daughter slow down some time, or think before making a risky lane change. In the meantime, just love her - that's all you can do.
Catphish - my condolences to you as well. Again, no adequate words.
