I used to run karoake at an "all-nighter" place in the Gump for a while.  I feel your pain....   How many times do you have to hear "PIcture" by Kid Rock & Sherryl Crow, before you want to bitch slap someone.

...and no...  "Summer Nights" from Grease will get a hoe slapped past 2 a.m.

I just fill in 3 to 4 times a month, sometimes with a weeks notice, sometimes an hours notice. I'm having a great time making a little extra cash.

Been there...people would joke on ya from time to time for doing karaoke, but it was an extra 150 bucks cash AND a free tab every time I did it.  It was at a place that was target rich too...  it was NOT a bad gig at all.

It's so funny the place is such a dive with duck tape holding the carpet down and bars of soap in the bathrooms. But the sound system and karaoke song list kick ass. I wish a free bar tab was a part of the deal for me but 1.50 beers sure do the trick :thumbsup:

That'll work.  Dives can sometimes be the best places man. Honesty, I used to sing live all over Georgia, and sometimes the "dives" were the places that loved you best!

...like I said, it's what the ladies want, not some fellow "dude" wincing at the song choice....   Jumbo could tell you, sometimes it's not exactly what you sing, but how you sing it...  Blood Alchohol Content helps too, but trust me, singing the right song to the right lady can get you some choice pickings.  Seen it and done it too many times man... tooooooo many....  haha..
