LIT's and Martini's are OK with me. Anything that has mostly liquor in it is a winner.
The best Martini I've made recently at the house is with vodka, though.
2 oz Level One Vodka
1 oz Martini and Rossi Dry Vermouth
1-3 teaspoons of Spanish Olive juice, to taste
Shake in a shaker, pour in a cold glass...pop a couple of spanish olives in there...and turn into a complete asshole after 3 of them. Yessssss....
My recipe:
Enough Sapphire Gin to fill a large martini glass
Swirl Martin and Rossi Dry Vermouth in the glass and dump remander in sink
Martini shaker fill with ice and Gin, shaken lightly, poured to the brim of said martini glass that has been in the freezer for some hours and then swirled with Vermouth.
Garnish with large olive and enjoy.
For a drier version, simply open the vermouth and place on counter, whaft the aroma of vermouth in to the shaker, then pour gin, shake, garnish, and enjoy.
For the driest, merely look at the bottle of Vermouth real hard while you shake the gin.
