New Orleans Terror
« on: January 02, 2025, 10:04:09 AM »
Of course, everyone has heard by now about the attack on New Years Eve on Bourbon Street.  15 people dead after Machmud El Hazziz Shimshad Jabbar turned his truck into the crowd and ran a bunch of people down. Then, got out and shot it out with police, wounding two officers before, presumably, getting shot dead himself.

Same thing happened recently in Germany. With all the debate about guns, it's clear that acts of terror and mass murder, can be carried out a lot of ways.  I know Trump made stopping terrorism a priority in his first term, and wants to again, but if someone really wants to do something that heinous, they'll find a way.

Sick world we live in.

My doctor told me I needed to stop masturbating.  I asked him why, and he said, "because I'm trying to examine you."

How the plot thickens. Thursday afternoon briefing from authorities included the following:

- Jabbar posted five videos on his Facebook account proclaiming his support for ISIS.

- He joined ISIS before the summer.

- He provided a will and testimony. He initially wanted to kill his family but didn't think they would bring enough attention to the ongoing war between believers and disbelievers.

-  Jabbar served in the Army for 10 years and was deployed to Afghanistan in 2009.

- Authorities now say Jabbar acted alone.  :taunt:

- 15 people are now confirmed deceased.

Wait. I thought the FBI said it’s not terrorism because the dude was born here.

Wanna stop this shit? Ole Tom Jefferson had it right.

Five statements of WISDOM
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friends, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

We are at war.  Have been since the 1500s.  Incompatible societies. Incompatible philosophies.

The sooner we realize it and act accordingly? The better off we are. Unfortunately, I don’t expect us to wake up in time.

London a generation ago was over 90% white and Christian.  Now?  One single  lifetime later, that number has dropped to 36%.

Is that our future?

None of us should be surprised that Marxism has enveloped our thinking and breached our most revered and trusted institutions including the military.

I truly think the 37 year old Vegas Green Beret Master Sergeant knew the Tesla was going straight up and was having domestic problems unrelated to terror.
He picked a Trump building and a Tesla loaded with fireworks to go out in a blaze of glory in privacy. Unfortunately life can drive even the strongest of minds to self destruction. This was a man in obvious mental anguish and there was no helping him. Just my opinion.

Our media outlets fall all over themselves trying to whip the public into a frenzy and they almost always succeed.
The FBI knows they are about to be evicerated and are scrambling to hide from the Jan 6 misdemeanors while they should be investigating felons and real terrorists that have been allowed to walk in by the Marxist wing of the Democrat Party. This is what happens when our DOJ gets politicized.

Jabbar was a decorated soldier and a Muslim with failed real estate ventures and an estranged family. It is reported that he swore allegiance to ISIS over the summer and that he first intended to murder his family before changing his target to the New Years Eve celebrants on Bourbon Street. We have home grown terrorists. Marxism only encourages more crazy.

Agree it's incompatible societies, believers and disbelievers.

The NOPD police chief is completely unqualified for her position and I'm guessing because of that many of her command staff are as well.   She was on television yesterday and openly stated they didn't use sidewalk barricades owned by the city to stop cars from doing exactly what that one did because she didn't even know the city owned them.

It's a complete and utter joke of an administration and this shit could have been prevented.

Explain to me how she got the job. She must have some policing background or qualifications. Please tell me there's some sort of hiring practices or formality to this.

Gee, I wonder why....LaToya doesn't want any lip from you.

She's also a former Memphis Police Dept employee so she got good training on how to allow violent crime run rampant and be clueless. Token is 100% right.

Quote
New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell appointed Kirkpatrick as interim police chief in September of 2023, and she was sworn in as the official police chief in November 2023.

According to her profile with the New Orleans Police Department, Kirkpatrick also works as a National Instructor for the FBI’s Law Enforcement Executive Association’s Leadership Training Program where she instructs on topics such as bias and diversity, emotional intelligence, leading generations and more.
