I don't recall it, and I didn't make fun of AU for anything but the NC rings. Generally, you have to play and win in a NC game to earn a NC ring last I checked. There are other teams that have handed out SEC West rings, and I didn't flame on that either. If you think otherwise, show me where I flamed them. Had we handed out SECC game rings or something, then yeah, that would be embarassing. But we didn't.

Well, at least we got rings for actually winning the entire SEC in '04.  We've had several "Western" division championships in recent history, or a tie...   Don't remember ring ceremonies for them however.
