The Auburn coaching staff made a big splash on its first day out on the road this spring, stopping at a number of Mobile-area schools. Seven Auburn coaches made their rounds together in a stretch limo as they begin a week of in-state visits they're calling the Tiger Prowl. One of the stops Monday was at Davidson High School, home of defensive tackle Pat McNeil."I like their swagger," McNeil said. "I really liked when they came in the weight room and there was a whole gang of coaches all in Auburn gear."Everybody was just amazed at all the coaches that were there."McNeil said the visit made a big impression on him and he thinks it will be a big splash throughout the state."It made me realize how serious they are about football recruiting for them to bring so many coaches to one school," McNeil said. "It makes a real big impression.""It makes me feel like they are really serious about getting their recruiting class together."
That's just one of many prospects that the Coaches visited today and will visit for the rest of the week, before they start targeting separate areas across the Country.
