Mr. Weasel, you have been taking a lot of shit from posters, whose numbers seem to be increasing by the day. I'm starting to see members who would rarely rip anyone for their right to say whatever, whenever...call you out. I consider myself to be in that group of fairly open minded individuals who stay the course with regard to the theme of this board. However..
It's now deteriorated into one big "Fuck you" fest and in this posters opinion, it's gone past the point of getting old. Look, you have a problem with the hiring of Coach Gene Chizik. We got it!. We've gotten it for the last 3-4 months. Here's the thing...and please take these words to heart...whatever your reasons for hating the hire...the man...the whole coaching situation...that's absolutely, 100% your right. And on this board, you absolutely, 100% have the right to espouse those views in any way you see fit. People can agree, disagree, debate, tell you to fist yourself, fist your dog, ignore you...whatever. That's the beauty of TigersX.
But, if you notice, while there have been a select few who have argued your take from the start, it's only been the last few weeks where people have come out of the woodwork to say, "Enough is enough." I'm finally in agreement. I don't disagree with your right to hate Gene Chizik, for whatever the reason may be. But, when it gets to the point where you simply take a quick glance at a certain posters take and say, "Same shit, different day" something's wrong. I don't think I'd be going out on a limb by saying that 90% plus of your posts have the reference, "Fuckhead Chizik" in them. Someone could start a thread about baby seals and it wouldn't be 3 replies in before you made some comment on Fuckhead Chizik clubbing baby seals and singlehandedly ruining the entire Auburn nation.
Look, you seem to be on some sort of crusade, some never-ending mission to inform the world of the coming of the anti-christ. That's fine. But, we got it long ago and every single post you make doesn't demand that you slap us in the face with it. All that leads to is exactly what's going on now...more and more posters replying with "Shut the fuck up." You can be on a mission to rid the world of Chizzzz..that's your perogative there Bobby Brown. But, this board only has a handful of consistent posters right now. It's growing but at this particular time, it's not exactly the place to climb up on your soap box on a daily basis and scream, "Fuck Chizik, fuck Chizik, fuck Chizik." It's just us...we got it!!!
Am I defending the hire of Gene Chizik? Not no, but hell no. I would imagine that if you polled everyone on this board about their reaction when they heard the news of his hire, you'd get a hearty, WTF??? But, he's the coach and most people will support him and give him a chance to see what he can do. We DON'T HAVE A CHOICE. This isn't about being right or wrong. We're just a bunch of message board schmucks entertaining ourselves with a distraction from the real world. Whether we love Chizik or hate him makes no difference. Nobody on this board, not me, not you (And especially not Howard) has any influence whatsoever. He'll still be on the sidelines until he proves he can't handle it the job.
Dude, you are obvioulsy passionate about certain things. Channel that into other things on this board besides calling Gene Chizik a fuckhead. Again, we got it!!! Your incessant name calling and your apparent mission to inform the world about the evil Chiz, has just crossed that line. It's old!! Now, people who may agree with your take are just getting sick of how you put that take out there. It's TigersX, you're free to rip at will. But, everyone on this board is free to rip back and when it gets to the level where that's all that's happeneing, it's time to move on.
