Let me change course here and jump upon my soap box. As of this minute, I am 9-3. I can live with it because of some pretty even matchups in the 1st round. However...I will go on record as saying...

CLEMSON...has GOT to be the most overrated, overhyped, over...whatever program in the history of college sports. I don't care what sport we're talking about (As long as it's actual sports that men follow, you know, football, basketball, baseball...) Clemson just bends over...spreads it's collective butt cheeks and takes a 12" rod up the ass every time they're hyped to have a good team. In ANYTHING!!!

My GAWD...Auburn under TONY FUCKIN' FRANKLIN beat them...what??? Then...Bama fudge packed that bunch of losers when Climpsum was supposed to be a top 10 team and possible MNC contender. They start strong just about every year in roundball and the media pimps em' like they're Kentucky under Rupp. Then..they fade..as usual..and cost me a point in my bracket.

THAT...my friends...is the real issue.

I enjoyed reading your ~~rant~~ analysis of Clemson so much I had to respond, Birdman.

Last season they came very close to beating the Tarheels in Clemson; I recall that game being a serious struggle but in the end they lost with Carolina getting a three point shot within the last 6 seconds (or maybe it was even within a few 10ths of a second) of the end of the game. They looked like a serious contender that year even making it to the final game of the ACC Championship; Carolina beat them by 5 points in what was their third meeting that season; Carolina beat them all three times.

I should point out that the proof of Clemson's 'over-rated-ness' is to look at how many times they've won the ACC Championship Tournament...never that I know of.

That's looking like a good pick so far. As I type Dayton has a 5 point lead with 39 seconds to go in the 1st half.

How about Pitt with only a 3 point lead over ETSU at the half? I'm sure they'll blow them out in the second half, but it would be great to see a 16 seed finally beat a 1 seed (especially since I have Pitt losing in the Sweet 16).

My Temple upset pick is looking pretty shitty at the moment.

If it were 10 I would feel better. I meant to say Pitt up by 3 in my previous post. Mizzou only up by 4 over Cornell at the half.
