While a member of Florida’s football team in 2008, he was arrested and kicked off the team, later pleading no contest to four counts of unauthorized use of a credit card. He was sentenced to probation in December.According to the Gainesville Sun, Hornsby used a friend’s credit card after her death in October 2007, buying nearly $3,000 worth of gas.
Supposedly Hornsby and two of his friends were in a McDonald's drive through when they were rear ended by another person. Hornsby got out, with one of his friends and while Hornsby's friend was taking something from the guy, he started punching that guy with a pair of Brass Knuckles. JH posted bail at $15,500. He could face up to 20 years.
