Check it out. Dustin Hoffman, 'Rain Man,' look retarded, act retarded, not retarded. Counted toothpicks, cheated cards. Autistic, sho'. Not retarded. You know Tom Hanks, 'Forrest Gump.' Slow, yes. Retarded, maybe. Braces on his legs. But he charmed the pants off Nixon and won a ping-pong competition. That ain't retarded. Peter Sellers, "Being There." Infantile, yes. Retarded, no. You went full retard, man. Never go full retard. You don't buy that? Ask Sean Penn, 2001, "I Am Sam." Remember? Went full retard, went home empty handed...

"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine.  What kind of brick and mud business model is that.  Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve.  Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

One of the funniest scenes in movie history.

I also liked this quote - "When you wrote 'I love da pussy,' were you thinking about dangling your dice on Lance's forehead?"

And...

"Stop tailgating me, you tasty teabag.  I'm going potty.  You wanna hold my dick?"

Agreed.  He was the best part of that movie.  Cruise was good, and I usually hate that guy, but Downey killed it.

No doubt, it was good stuff.  For my money, though, Downey owned.

I bought it a few weeks ago but just haven't taken the time to watch.  Stop ruining it for me ya' morons.

I'll let you know when I've watched it so you can resume your little critique.  Now, move to another thread.

You'll like it.  One of the best damn comedies that I've seen in a long time.  I hate Cruise but he did a good job in it.  Downy rocked.

But some of my favorite lines were exclamations from the Special Effects guy after various explosions:

"Mother nature just pissed her pantsuit!"
"Big ass titties!"

Anyway, you'll like the movie.

I think you meant "Ben Stiller almost killed the movie."

Black was surprisingly restrained...for Jack.

Stiller hasn't been funny in a very long time.

Interestingly enough, the older I get, the less funny some of the juvenile bullshit is. I usually can sit through most anything. But I found myself wishing this was over long before it finally ended.

Acquired taste I guess.

Five statements of WISDOM
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friends, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

I was going to watch this, but I got a nasty letter from Charter saying that Universal had informed them that I illegally downloaded it. Of course, I denied ever doing such a thing, because that is just wrong you know.

I know I will be booed for this, but I didn't think the movie was that funny.

It was ok. Like a 5 or maybe 5 1/2 out of 10.

I thought it was going to be hilarious. Really the only parts I actually laughed at were the fake trailers at the very beginning.

Two of my favorite parts of the movie were the reactions of the vietnamese guy when les goodman went off on him when he asked for the ransom. (I wouldn't give you the cheese off a hobo's dick). The look on his face is priceless.
