The CIA's station chief at its sensitive post in Algeria is under investigation by the U.S. Justice Department for allegedly raping at least two Muslim women who claim he laced their drinks with a knock-out drug, U.S. law enforcement sources tell ABC News.

Bush had to kiss some serious ass when that soldier was caught using the Koran for target practice. It will be if Berry can connect with some of that Muslim good will he fostered on that Egyptian TV interview to smooth this over.

No kidding!  It'll be interesting to see how the followers of the religion of perpetual rage accept The ONE prostrating himself before them to beg forgiveness.

How does their Muslim faith play into this? he (allegedly) raped two women.  They were drinking with him, they were obviously alone with him, both of which violate Muslim sharia law, so how can the Muslim angle be played at this point?  Unless they will both be stoned because he did this, their religion should have no bearing.  If he had done this to two Presbyterian women, the only issue would be the rape.

Typical media - making more of this than needs to be made.  And typical Western hating Muslims, to play the religion card when it suits them.

You do make some very good points Tiger Wench.

The writer of the article does make a point to mention that not only were the alleged rape victims followers of the religion of perpetual rage but the CIA agent was also a convert to Islam which throws another angle to this that makes it less analogous to the situation where "Bush's evil, infidel soldiers" desecrated the "Holy" Koran (quote sarcasm intentional).

Like you said; this alleged crime should focus on the rape and illegal videotape charge.  Sharia laws are irrelevant.

Apart from that the "victims" are due to be stoned...that is the Sharia way, eh?
