It also says that he had offers from Clemson, Oregon, Florida St, and a few other bigger name schools.  The question then becomes, why did he commit to SoMiss.

Actually in the interest of truthfulness he never had an offer from FSU.  "He was considering FSU".

Hell I was considering Harvard as a senior but they didn't have their "take a redneck to lunch program" enacted at that point.

JT has retaken his ACT and stated that he will qualify now, as long as he doesn't slip up with his class work.  And, IMO it's the same as the DeAndre and Neiko Thorpe case.
