He let him dangle in the breeze.  He hired him back when it's pretty obvious now that he didn't want to.  He gave other people Willis' responsibilities. He paid him less than what others -- who had no Auburn ties -- were making. Chiz pissed down the guy's leg. 

If he didn't want him, fine.  He shouldn't have caved to the whining of a couple of recruits and brought in a guy he didn't want.
