Clint Moseley commited today after Auburn presented him with an offer.

Quote
Per Rivals
"Auburn has landed one of the state of Alabama's best.

Moseley is Auburn's only QB commit in the '09 class.
Leroy (Ala.) quarterback Clint Moseley, who was named Mr. Football (and state of Alabama ESPN/Gatorade Player of the Year) after throwing for 3,749 yards and 35 touchdowns as a senior, committed to Auburn Sunday afternoon, immediately after picking up an offer."

"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine.  What kind of brick and mud business model is that.  Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve.  Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

As a senior, Moseley completed 209-of-315 passes for 3,749 yards and 35 touchdowns with just five interceptions. He also ran for 693 yards and 15 touchdowns.

Moseley's 8,413 career passing yards rank fifth in AHSAA history and his 79 touchdown passes rank seventh. He also finished his career on a 25-game winning streak with three straight state championships.

Past articles have Moseley talking with other schools including Alabama and other larger programs after leading his school to a State Championship this season.   He IS a prime example of "flying under the radar" in my opinion.

from watching the his highlights...this kid has a really nice throwing motion and a silky smooth realise, meaning he doesn't push the ball or chunk it like a hand grenade.  Also, he seems to have pretty good range on his throws.  Also, the kid is a little faster than 4.71....you don't get rated as the Top 15 Dual Threat QB with a forty time that's only .2 faster than your Olinemen.

Here's the ESPN/Gatorade website:

I've seen him play several times.  2A.

HE may have been talking to Alabama and other larger programs but they weren't talking back.

Maybe it works out.

Well, I know you're going to complain because there's nothing this staff could do to make you happy right now, but you say you saw him play.  He won Mr. Football over Dre Kirkpatrick and Tim Simon.  He can't be terrible.  What say you?   Why is he winning these bigger awards if he's "average" as you seem to make it out to be?  Just curious.

Did I say he was average Chop?  I said he was 2A.

There's a huge difference between 2A good and SEC good.  He was a solid 2A quarterback.

Scout graciously rated him the 80th QB prospect in the country.  Not 80th prospect overall, but 80th QB.  He's not on Rival's radar (at least the top 250 prospects).

His offers, chop, were allegedly from Arkansas State, Marshall and South Alabama.  Yech.

I hope he works out. He had a good run at Leroy.

There are things this staff could do to make me happy.  Hasn't happened yet.

You inferred it in my opinion.  Thus my statement.

I hear ya.  No problems with any of it.  I just think this could be a case of never in the right place at the right time (2A school...lack of coverage).   He might suck.  He might be pretty much the best thing since pockets on shirts.  The awards tell me he's better Arkansas State, Marshall and South Alabama.  Just my opinion, so we'll have to see.

I mentioned this before, but his cousin John is a good friend of mine - the guy that was the Apache pilot in Iraq, with the Auburn Eyes logo on his flight helmet.  Granted, it's a family thing, but he is high on his cousin and is very excited about him coming to Auburn.

My doctor told me I needed to stop masturbating.  I asked him why, and he said, "because I'm trying to examine you."
