It's staring you dead in the face. Some mixed reviews from the pre-conference season. Typical fucked up losses to the Mercers and Northern Iowa's of the world. Hope comes from key wins at Virginia and a thrashing of Tulane. Now, you open the SEC season with a 12 point loss to South Carolina. In my humble opinion, the fate of Lebo and this program for the forseeable future hangs in the balance with the next few games. Either this team will step up....or slide miserably into the depths of flat out shit over a 4 game stretch.
It doesn't matter where you play them...your next 4 games are Florida, Alabama, Kentucky and Arkansas. If Lebo's program has made any real strides and improvements, they will hang tough and win at least two of those games. If not, this team will be 0-5 to start the SEC schedule and as far as I'm concerned, if that happens, Lebo can take a hike in mid season.
I'm telling you, this is it!!! Either this team turns it on now, or it's time to wipe the slate clean again and find some players and coaches who are ready to win. I sincerely hope they step up big time.
