How did he pay for the 1st three years? Sounds like they threatened to leave without a scholly, got called on it, and decided to come back and earn his scholly during the spring. I'm sure if we end up having one available, Chiz will be glad to give it to him.
I don't know how they paid for the first three. Sometimes shit happens and circumstances change. I got three more years to pay for my daughter. I've got plans to do it but you never know what's around the next curve.

Merely said that if the kid was promised a scholarship by Tubs, and Jacobs confirmed it during the transition (as was widely reported) and then Chiz reneged, that was a shitty way to do. I still say that.

Sounds TO ME like Jacobs (and by proxy Chiz) shit on the kid and he got rightfully pissed and hurt. Looked at his finances and figured he'd have to give it up. Then after sitting on it for a while, either something came through financially or he figured out some way to stay. Then he decided to give it another shot because he wants to punt in the NFL anyway and needs the experience. Makes more sense than your Chizik-Shield defense.
