68 year old Linda Kruger-Small took a wrong turn onto the train tracks in Anaheim. When she noticed a train approaching, she did the only logical thing: she called 911.
Despite the dispatcher's frantic pleas for the woman to exit the vehicle, and despite the good Samaritan standing outside her car screaming for her to get out and run, Linda sat calmly in her car, confident the magic 911 fairy would wave her magic wand and instantly stop the 100,000 ton freight train bearing down on her.
Linda was wrong. She was struck and killed by the train, and hopefully had enough time before she croaked to realize what a colossal moron she was.
It takes a special kind of stupid to drive on the tracks, ignore the train, ignore the dispatcher, and ignore the person right next to you when your life is in danger. So Linda, here's to you... getting the fuck out of the gene pool. I hope you didn't reproduce.
