Tchoudov wins biathlon World Cup individual race

HOCHFILZEN, Austria (AP) -Maxim Tchoudov led a Russian 1-2 finish at a biathlon World Cup 20-kilometer individual race Thursday.
Tchoudov missed one target and finished in 56 minutes, 0.3 seconds for his second World Cup victory. Ivan Tcherezov skied faster but came in second after missing two targets. He trailed Tchoudov by 47.6 seconds.
Bjorn Ferry of Sweden took third. Olympic champion Michael Greis of Germany defended his lead in the discipline standings by finishing fourth.
Overall World Cup leader Emil Hegle Svendsen of Norway finished 18th and missed the podium for the first time in six races this season.
