As was said earlier, we need to direct our venom at the Jays.  Can't blame Chizik for accepting a winning lottery ticket.  You know, I kept thinking all this time that the hatred and BS that's been flung Jacobs' way, was over the top.  I kept thinking that people are just disagreeing because he doesn't always handle things the way they thought he should.  He has to have Auburn's best interest at heart and he's gonna' show us all with this hire.  Right?  I mean, this hire is absolutely critical...right?  He can't fuck this up.  There's 4-5 up and coming coaches out there he can choose from that certainly would get the job done.  Even theough there are no BIG name coaches supposedly on the market, $3-$4 million could lure a Butch Davis, Steve Spurrier, Paul Johnson etc. to Auburn.  Without a doubt, this is a HUGE opportunity for JJ to turn us back around and send Auburn into a new era of success.

Nope, he really is a dumbass.

I sincerely hope for all our sakes that there's something about CGC that's a perfect fit that they saw.  I hope the guy comes in and tears the SEC a new one.  But, on paper, this was the worst candidate of ANY even mentioned.  This is inexplicable and in my mind, seals the deal.  Jacobs and whoever else was behind this hire, is a complete dumbass.

My doctor told me I needed to stop masturbating.  I asked him why, and he said, "because I'm trying to examine you."

Lowder and Jacobs have put a huge scar on this university.  They are the ultimate inside bammer job.

I truly am sorry for my Auburn brothers to hear about this hire.

It seriously does not make any sense, IMO.

Would everyone have felt equally as pissed had Boom Muthfucka had been hired?

Remember, Iowa St is a miserable job and tough place to win.  I still don't understand the Cyclones firing Dan McCarney.

Hopefully, this will not turn out as badly as everyone thinks.

Not a bad point. But, Muschamp hasn't been given the head reins for two years and failed miserably.

Chizik was advised by many to not take the job at Iowa St as it could be a career ruining stop.

That was obviously incorrect advise.

Ames is a tough sell, but Jacobs has put Chizik in a very uncomfortable situation. If CGC wasn't securing a top notch OC when the wheels touched down at Auburn International, he's already behind the power curve. This dude has some hard work ahead of him.
