Wait a minute - why would you say this?  Because they are taking their time and interviewing all possible candidates that might be a good fit?  It has only been a WEEK, people.  I know, recruiting, blah blah, but if they did a knee jerk hire, we would be kvetching about that too - so let's just shut up and go through the process.

What he said.  As I have mentioned more than once before, they are the bammers of the Big 12 - overrated arrogant blowhards, with a superiority complex and sense of entitlement, with a campus full of pinko commie liberal elitist types, and TONS of sidewalk alums...  blech.  The Aggies suck, but I still pull for them (as much as I pull for any B12 team, which is to say, half-heartedly) just because they feel Auburn's pain in having to deal with the Moo Cows like we deal with bammers.

i knew someone would bring up Nick the Dick's process, but this is different.  We want to be cautious about this - people are going to bitch either way.  Hire too quickly and we bitch that they didn't consider all of the best choices.  Hire too slowly and it's all fucked up... you can't please everyone!  In my mind, this is the right way to go about this.  Like I said before - IT HAS ONLY BEEN A WEEK!!  It took bammer more than a month.  We can take another week if we need to and still not look anywhere near as lame as they did.
