Syracuse Hires Marrone
It looks like Doug Marrone may be the guy. ESPN Radio 1000 in Chicago is reporting that Marrone has been offered and has accepted the Syracuse University football head coaching job. Marrone is in Chicago Thursday night with the New Orleans Saints as they get ready to take on the Bears. He’s been the team’s offensive coordinator since 2006. Marrone played for the Orange from 1983-85. The University has yet to confirm that report. – WSYR
